Ambassadors will learn skills that will assist them with their personal growth and development in an individual and team atmosphere. Ambassadors will work in areas such as public speaking, oral and written communication, dining etiquette, team building, etc.
Ambassadors will train in 6 leadership skill development areas. At Leadership SOAR Convention, youths can enter into the Eagles SKILLS Competition to display the skills they have learned. Skilled competition areas are First Aid, Customer Service, Extemporaneous Speaking, Interviewing Skills, Prepared Speech, and Dining Etiquette.
Ambassadors will learn the code of rules and ethics for working together in a group. Throughout the year the Ambassadors learn and practice the ends and outs of Parliamentary Procedures from calling a meeting to order and presenting a motion to adjourning a meeting. By the end of the year, the Ambassadors will have the ability to professionally conduct any organization meeting.
Ambassadors will participate in the chapter Community Service project that will benefit the community. This area is a requirement for each chapter and each chapter should submit their project in the SKILLS competition at the Leadership SOAR Convention.
